F.A.Q.

1What's the expected waiting time after I have ordered the instrument?
The expected waiting time for an acoustic guitar is about 7 months, while for an archtop is about 9 months. Please keep in mind that this is only an approximate estimate, and there are some factors that may sligtly vary it, although these are rare events.
2How can I book a build?
The building process will officially begin when the first, non refundable deposit payment has been received. I ask 30% of the final price in advance, while the rest can be paid at finished instrument, otherwise a diluted monthly payment plan can be planned. The initial deposit is menat to cover initial expenses such as materials for your guitar and is non-refundable.
3Is shipping available?
Yes, international shipping is available, although direct pickup of the guitar would be preferred. Shipping and insurance fees are up to the customer. Consignement usually requires 3-15 days, depending by your zone and the type of shipping you will choose.
4Is the instrument ready to play?
At consignement, the instrument will be finely setted according to your preferences. Anyway, some humidity/temperature changes happening during the shipping may affect the setup. Feel free to contact me for support.
5Can we study the project and wood matching together? Could you help me choosing?
Yes for sure! That's the reason I am here. If you have doubts or need more information, feel free to ask. I will try to help if I can.
6I changed my mind about the wood/specs/frets, could you please change it?
If the build is still at an early stage, we can change some minor, later detail with any problem (ex. fret size, varnish color...). Anyway, all the major structural parts (like wood essences, bracing, string scale...) once chosen are final, since all the project is designed to be well balanced since the beginning; changing one of them could unbalance the instrument. That's why I strongly encourage you to freely talk with me before we start the official work.
7Will you send me pictures during the build?
Yes, I can send you updates and photos at reasonable intervals. Anyway I prefer to focus on making you an amazing instrument more than sending you amazing pics of it, so I will try to limit my pictures at the most salient steps of the build :-) .
